What was the highlight of Quality Hotel Vänersborg

Good spot for a short stay

The regular bed was comfortable (the sofa bed good for kids, would have been a bit hard for adults). The breakfast was very good, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't have the chance to use pool and spa. The restaurant was good. Overall we had a very positive experience.

Both the pool and the spa are open only from 12 (so no early swim before a stroll in town). The hotel is easily accessible from the main access into town, but it is not central (we were there in cold days so walking to the center is not an option). We booked a double delux room where we stayed as a family of four. The space was ok for a couple of nights, but it would have been too packed for staying any longer (no storage, no space to sit.

We loved the spa, pool and sauna. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value too. We were able to park right outside the main entrance.

Good value for money.

Big, comfortable and clean rooms. Had a little issue with the checking out time, but the front desk staff were exceptional with dealing with it. 10 stars to their customer service skills.

Breakfast was real good with plenty of choices. The restaurant had really good food with friendly service and good value

Amazing breakfast with everything you need! Helpful staff. Outside jacuzzi and (cold…) indoor pool was nice. Good location and free parking.

Warm rooms in summer. Only simple fan available. Noisy for rooms near outside jacuzzi if windows are opened.

Great hotel.

Great looking hotel, clean and great staff. Breakfast was excellent and the dining area big. Overall a very nice hotel.

No ventilation in the room which make it very warm and the air gets bad and uncomfortable to breath. Woke up in the middle of the night and felt like there where no oxygen. Had to sleep with the window open. Dogs constantly barking in the hotel late at night.

Nice hotel a bit outside of city center.

Nice hotel located 2 kms out of city center, but walking distance, for most. Rooms were nice and clean with bathroom and shower. All neccessary amenities. room faced the parking lot. guests needed a parking permit issued by the receptionist. the walk along the canal and lake to city center was really nice. Quick checkin.

A little confusing spacious lobby area with gaming room, bar and restaurant. a little lack of intimacy there. Hotel is targeting conference guests and it shows.

Very Good

The breakfast was amazing. 9/10 Only missing a proper expresso. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very clean and spacious hotel room. Peaceful environment. Wifi was good. Water pressure and temperature for the shower was perfect.

The pillows weren't very comfortable. Would have liked the windows to have sheer curtains and not just the black out curtains. There's no proper smokers / vapers area outside. TV doesn't let you cast from your phone which would have been a big plus. The room got a bit hot during the night. You get locked out of the hotel after midnight and have to wait for someone to open the door for you (it took a little longer than expected).

Well equipped hotel with very welcoming staff - recommendation

Staff was welcoming, very friendly and helpful. Our family room was spacious, beds comfortable. Nice restaurant, sitting- and Breakfast area. Pool, Whirlpool and a small sauna open till 10 pm. Breakfast was very good with good quality and variety. We enjoyed our stay. and would come back anytime.

Pool was to small for swimming, but enough for the kids to enjoy. During rush hour at Breakfast time there could have been a little bit more staff, because it took a while to clean the tables (but the ladies where very courteous though). WLAN poor in the room at the end of the aislle.

At Breakfast there was a lot of choose, hot & cold, different kind of bread, meats & cheeses, jams.

No aircon in the room. Being on the 2nd floor, I could not leave the window open to ventilate, because of the flat roof outside.

The pool and the jacuzzi were amazing. The rooms are sound isolated as the door is quite heavy. Bed is comfy.

The spa happened to be closed while we were staying there.

Hotel with great breakfast and polite/helpful staff. No ventilation in my room.

Big well made breakfast, and nice helpful staff. Hotel close to a nature reserve, with walking areas and a bridge. Perfectly acceptable distance from Vänersborg city, with good bus connectivity.

Air quality in my room. No ventilation and a bit smelly. Kept the window wide open for improved quality.
